Measure the light.

Measure The Light
As a photographer, sometimes we have to "measure" the light on a subject or in an area, usually with a light meter. Or if you're trying to be funny you can use a ruler...

My sister and I decided to have some more fun with cinemagraphs! It was such a pretty day out, hope everyone seized it.

Those who have to pee might see my art.

CigSculp
I forgot to mention that my cigarette sculpture photograph is hanging out in some bars in Toronto, thanks to ArtHere! It's in the bathrooms, to be specific, but I heard that's the coolest place.

Mint Chocolate.

Mint Chocolate
"Mint chocolate? That's like eating chocolate with toothpaste."

This one's for all the mint chocolate haters. I'm a huge chocolate lover, but my whole life I have never accepted the mix of mint and chocolate together. I think it's so gross, so I decided to express myself. Is there anyone else out there like me?

I had some fun with the scanner today. I haven't used it to elongate my fingers before, but I've seen people do it. I finally gave it a go! ...and then I decided to scan my pets. From the top: rat, dog, bearded dragon, hermit crab, and chameleon. I didn't really have the guts to try to handle the tarantula though.

DIY: Pop Tab Curtain

Pop Tab Curtain
PopTab1
PopTab2
PopTab3
This is a project I started waaaaay back but never had enough pop tabs or motivation to finish it, until now. I've never had a beaded curtain before and I've always wanted one so one day I decided that I'm going to make one. As I was looking through my boxes, hunting beads, I came across some pop tabs I once collected, and I decided that I want my curtain to be made out of pop tabs!

I wanted one where the pop tabs are overlapped so that there isn't much space in between, meaning I was going to need a LOT of pop tabs. Thanks to all my friends who donated me some! It was especially hard for me since I don't drink a lot of pop.

PopTabs
The method I used to put together the pop tabs is really easy! The hardest part is finding enough time to do it. Here are the steps:

You can use any pop tabs and any type of thread. I used a thin white thread so that it wasn't very visible. Also, when I would run out of thread, I would just cut two new strands of thread and attach them to the ends.

I used approximately 3,500 pop tabs!

Hope you like it!

Kevin: You should add the Pikachu.
Dori: FINE.

So I gave Ash his bottle cap Pikachu. It looks so awesome on my wall, I never wanna take it off! Bottle caps from water bottles add up fast. These pics were added to the original tutorial page: DIY: Bottle Cap Wall Art.
