Looks like you have some sort of implant under the skin.
This works much better if you're a bit dehydrated. (Hmm, I think I'll go grab some water.)
At first I saw the photo and was utterly disgusted. Then I read the text and proceeded to do it myself. I can't stop. possibly the coolest thing ever, I have new appreciation for my 2nd finger knuckle. Thanks ;)
You could be inspired to totally write a whole science fiction novel from this picture. That's crazy. And yes I tried to do it on myself and wow I didn't realize it stays that long! =)
