Not being able to afford any business cards, I took matters into my own hands. These are made out of pennies, although any other coins will probably do (I like to keep my silver!) - and I call them business coins.
I brought them to the art event last night and a lot of people loved them! It made me so happy. On one side is a design, and on the other, your information. This won't work if you want to share a lot of information - unless you use QR code!
Here are some designs I came up with:

Make some yourself:
STEP 1: Find a penny! Canadian pennies work great. ;) You will also need paint (I used acrylic), paint brushes, and clear nail polish.
STEP 2: Paint your penny! Start with a base colour. You might need 2 coats. Once that dries, paint whichever desgins and information you desire - if your paint brush isn't thin enough, cut it thinner with scissors.
STEP 3: Coat your penny! I used clear nail polish becuase it's fabulous. This way, your paint won't rub off as easily - and it gives it a nice gloss.

Now you can hand them out! They won't get destroyed as easily as paper cards, and if you ever need your pennies back, nail polish remover will do the trick. I love the outer space designs the most - I'm going to stick to those.

I hope you've enjoyed this idea, and thanks for reading. :)
Edit: January 29, 2012
I slightly changed the style of my business coins. I'm sticking to the space theme for now. Instead of painting on my website link, I glued on printed text, which looks neater. I also added a visible bronze border by scraping off paint along the edges. I think these have a whole different feel to them!
