Dentist Portrait.

For a recent school assignment, we had to photograph a business portrait of a person in their work environment. I was lucky enough to photograph a dentist, who also happens to be my best friend's mom, so it was a fun shoot! I've been a little more experimental with photoshop, especially at improving colours.

Facebook Timeline Cover Image

I just switched my Facebook to timeline. I figured I might as well have some fun with the cover photo, so this is the first thing I came up with. It's my arm, which explains why it's so thin! Business Coins V2.

I added a new style of business coins. I added them to my project page.

HTML Art.

I don't know too much about HTML codes, but there's this code I recently rediscovered (I knew it way back but it didn't work on old browsers I think). Anyway, I decided to have some fun with it. You have to use your mouse to see it.

A portrait of me.

Here is a photograph of me by Jake Lichty. It was shot while I was jumping, and I also must have done a lot of damage to my hair because those curls stayed just as curly overnight. It's kind of fun to be in front of a camera and try to capture different personalities you hide.

Clothespin Sculpture.

A little sculpture I made using a regular clothespin and little clothespins. It looks really nice on a shelf. :)

Colgate Ad.

We had to shoot this for an assignment as a mock for shooting to a drawn out layout. It was really simple, but a lot harder than it seems, and I had so many issues. It's far from perfect, but I think my Photoshop skills have slightly improved!

Stop SOPA.

I changed my blog banner for today's big strike. I'm sure you've heard a lot about the S.O.P.A. and P.I.P.A. bills, and even though I'm Canadian, these bills would affect me too! Milk.

I decided to have some fun with high speed splashes again. They didn't turn out as well as they did last time I attempted it, but I think that's mostly because most of my time was spent trying to make the background less distracting. I don't know how to make these very well, and I definitely don't have the best equipment for it at all, but if I ever could afford it I definitely want to create water sculptures like this amazing guy. I think I might start a series of photos like the first one, where objects are just about to hit a surface. I liked the symmetry of it.

Dori The Giant Redesigned!

Hey everyone. I spent all day redesigning my blog layout. For those who are new here, this is what the old template looked like. I spent all day creating it and coding it! Camerahands - Redesigned Again

I redesigned my website - www.camerahands.com - once more. This was the previous look. As you can see I pretty much pulled a 180, and changed the entire mood of the website. I've been liking shapes a lot, especially simple geometric shapes. I'll probably re-design it again during the summer if I think of a new idea. Please let me know if there are any bugs since I coded it myself, thank you.

Black Swan Poster

I watched the movie Black Swan when it first came out and I loved it. I stumbled upon some pretty, vintage style designed posters for the movie and I fell in love with them. View them here. I decided to make my own Black Swan poster using a similar style to theirs because I liked it so much. I had so much trouble making the proper swan shape for this and my lack of Illustrator skills didn't help much. Explained: A pair of black swans which hide inside them a pair of eyes. The eyes represent the ballerina, which is why they appear angry. The swans are on a lake, although instead of waves I used zigzags to give it an edgier feel. The lake is red and dripping on the bottom right, which represents bloodshed. If I ever decide to re-do this idea, I think I'll add the ballerina's crown next time.

Fun with infinity. ∞

I had some practise making some rough shapes and logos. I chose the infinity symbol as my theme. Here is what I came up with: Infinite Saturn Infinite glasses. Infinite hourglass.

Pants Shirt!

A while ago I saw a friend with a shirt that said shirt.
It was the coolest thing I'd seen that day.
I thought, how ironic would it be if my shirt said pants!?
Love it.

I'm assuming someone intended to mark this net with a Jamaican flag,
but when I first saw it I thought:
Basketmail!

Kudos to anyone who got the triangle even before looking at the other two. Thanks to my friend Kevin for his idea of adding the T and the V!
